Ivan Arocha - Women and Flowers
September 26 & 27, 3-5pm


"Women and Flowers" is a work in process that began in the fall of 2006 for a performance-installation. At present it's comprised of 13 pieces in mixed media on canvas, 72x24 inches. Painted on both sides of the canvas, they are mounted on mobile structures.

Ivan was recently featured in Cuba Encuentro. Read the article by Armando López. Ivan's Art Performance Installation will be exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art: 1000 Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street, New York.

Musica y Arte en El Bulevard, is looking for artists to exhibit at their outdoor event on Boulevard East, between 55th & 60th, on Oct 12, 12-7pm. The Monmoth County Judiciary is looking for latin american artists for a 1-day Exhibition for Hispanic Heritage month. The Judiciary has close to 10,000 employees but the executive branch has some 80,000 employees. That's plenty of .exposure of Latino Arts to Monmouth county judges and employees. WBGO, a Newark radio station, is looking for Latin artists that have a music theme to their art work to  exhibit at their space, right off Broad St, for Hispanic Heritage month.
