Poet Inés Del Castillo, presents her book, Los Prados de Mi Glosa, at Gallery Twenty-One, Newark. The presentation and book signing will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2-5pm. The author will read from and discuss her work.
Los Prados de Mi Glosa, published by Urpi Editores, is a collection of poems written in the Spanish style of the Décima Malara and is divided in two parts. The first is based on the simple verses of José Martí and the second part, on the poet’s childhood memories of the farm where she was born. This, Inés Del Castillo’s fourth book, is a prize for both lovers of Cuba and beautiful poetry alike.
The presentation and reception will have as its backdrop the artist exhibit honoring the 156th birthday of José Martí, Cuban Poet, Patriot and Revolutionary. Live traditional Cuban music by Yuka Seka during the reception.

Los Prados de Mi Glosa, una colección de Décimas Malaras, publicado por Urpi Editores, se divide en dos partes. La primera se basa en el verso sencillo de José Martí y la secunda parte, en el recuerdo de la niñez de la poeta en la finca donde nació. Este, el cuarto libro publicado por Inés Del Castillo, sera un predio para Cuba y el mundo amante del verso.
La presentación y recepción tendrá como marco la exposición de arte honrando el Natalicio de José Martí (156 anos), Poeta Cubano, Patriota y Revolucionario. Música tradicional Cubana en vivo por Yuka Seka durante la recepción.
